#Herheim succeeded in breathing both subtle & surprising new life into #Verdi for me last night #ROHvepres @RoyalOperaHouse

Still buzzing from last night's #ROHVepres - such a life-enhancing experience

#ROHVêpres shining bright lights at the audience for finale was a real cop out and smacked of desperation. As for Schrott in a gown....

Very pleased that Bryan Hymel got to sing ‘La brise souffle au loin’. I really thought it would be cut. #ROHVêpres

It's French. It's Verdi. It's Herheim's beautiful production. And Pappano conducting. It's GRAND! #ROHVepres

Michael Volle took vocal honours for me - with some highlights from Hymel and plenty of volume from Schrott #ROHvêpres

What a thought-provoking intelligent production about the nature of theatre - compellingly at one with the music #ROHVepres

Wowed by the new production of #ROHVepres, lots of surprises, ear and eye candies. It has to be seen: at your local cinema or ROH

Whatever else I may think about #ROHVepres, it certainly doesn't stint on the eyeworms. The last 2 acts go to some very strange places.

#ROHVepres: act three finale: UNBELIEVABLE WALL OF SOUND! #teamProcida (and everyone else here at @royaloperahouse) loved it!
